Hugh Melville

Hugh graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce in November 2004. He joined Cosgriff Orchard Legal as an articled clerk in 2005 and was admitted to practice in March 2006. Hugh became a director of the firm in January 2011. Hugh heads up the firm's Agribusiness area and has been involved in several large scale rural land and water transaction on both side of the border and advises several irrigation bodies in the Echuca Moama areas. He also practices in Business Law and Property Law having acted for clients in relation to business transactions and leasing matters.

Hugh sits on the boards of both Greater Murray YMCA and the Echuca Moama & District Tourism Association. He was treasurer of the Echuca United Football & Netball Club from 2007-2009 and has been involved with several community organisations including the establishment of the Winemakers of Echuca-Moama.
